Global Thermal Think Tank (G3T) to Meet at Grotta Giusti from 3rd to 5th October

Each year, before the Global Wellness Summit the G3T meets to discuss the industry insights from the past 12 months and emerging trends. The findings of these meetings are then presented at the Global Wellness Summit, an event expected to attract 650 executives and leaders from 50 countries from around the world.
Italian Hospitality Collection’s Dr. Fortunati will open the G3T meeting at Grotta Giusti with a presentation on the evolution of thermalism in Italy, ‘Italian Thermalism: From Roman Times to the Future’. The discussion will draw on the resident expert’s own research of the ancient thermal cave beneath Grotta Giusti, the largest cave in the world in which hotel guests can swim, dive and practise thermal yoga.
Other discussion points and keynote presentations throughout the two-day G3T meeting will include the impact of thermal treatments on mental health, an introduction to the World Federation of Hydrotherapy and Climatotherapy and the latest innovations within the hot springs wellness sphere.
Italy is a world leader in wellness tourism (ranking 9th at $12.7 billion annually), in spa (7th largest global market at $2.5 billion) and in thermal springs (ranked 5th at $1.7 billion in revenues). Italian Hospitality Collection’s three Tuscan spas, Grotta Giusti, Bagni di Pisa and Fonteverde all utilise the thermal springs that lie beneath the hotels and offer world-leading wellness programmes.
Dr Fortunati is renowned for developing Italian Hospitality Collection’s Equilibrium programme, an advanced wellness programme based on Psycho Neuro Endocrine Immunology.
