Program: general information

The basic programme includes 7 nights stay at the hotel, a personalised menu, a diagnostic programme and specific treatment programme. The course begins on Sunday afternoon with a welcoming meeting with the medical tutor and continues throughout the week according to the daily planning that is given to the guest on arrival. The course can be adjusted by doing an evaluative, diagnostic programme that only includes the diagnosis part, which can then be matched with just a stay in the hotel or any other selected spa treatment.

The programme can also be carried out when using the day spa, however, this type of programme does require that the guest comes at least twice a week.

Upon leaving, the guest receives their personal “Blueprint” drawn up by the medical team so that the food regime, behaviour and physical exercise models carried out during the stay at the resort can be followed in their daily life. This is a detailed report about the course carried out at Grotta Giusti, and it is accompanied by personal documents (the original documents from the initial assessments, a report on the capability and affinity for sporting activities with cards showing practical activities to do at home, reports on the results of the psychometric and behavioural assessment tests and relative proposals about relaxation and anti-stress techniques). The blueprint also contains the personalised, prescribed nutritional plan based on the potential antioxidant activities of the food and the individual’s nutrigenomic particulars, the protocol of the dermo-aesthetic treatment carried out and the proposed personalised, supplemented, nutritional treatment with galenic formulations, which the STB scientific committee guarantee for their anti-toxicity and effectiveness.

The guests will also have an online platform at their disposition which is dedicated to their follow up and it includes a special area where they can keep in contact with the medical team from home, for any reason or need.

For the guests’ comfort during their stay, we recommend they wear casual clothes for the daily activities (trainers, tracksuit, swimsuit, swimming cap) and slightly more formal clothes for the evenings.
